Surgical Indications

- Sciatica/radiation type pain in the limbs, refractory to medical treatment/infiltrations after at least 6-8 weeks of treatment

-Surgical emergencies; loss of strength in arms/legs or sphincter disorders; urgent surgery within 24-72 hours will give the maximum chance of recovery and resumption of neurological functions.

-Relative emergencies; unbearable pain despite maximum and optimized treatment
